We believe technology has the potential to improve hotel businesses. But we've also seen that tech doesn't always make everything better. Our mission is to make hospitality better by making hotel tech better. That means making decision making easier for hoteliers. And it means honest, helpful feedback for the people building technology.
Why we made this
Technology has so much power and potential, but how it works in hotels varies so widely depending on the technology being used. There are some software companies out there that help hoteliers drive real results, and then there are companies out there that waste time and money and give the rest of hotel technology a bad name.
It's been too hard for too long to understand what tech actually works. You can talk with others in the industry, but you're busy and it's hard to quickly find enough of the right people to talk with. The companies with the best marketing or the biggest trade show booths aren't always the ones with the best products.
We know transparency helps everyone. We've seen that with TripAdvisor and other online reviews for decades, and now we want to bring that into the world of hotel tech.
We want to give you an unfiltered view into what hotel technology is good and what's not. To recognize the technology companies that are investing in their products and the people supporting hoteliers so that more hotels use their software and improve the lives of their guests and teams in doing so. We want to help you avoid wasting money on technology that doesn't work.

How it works
The hospitality industry is beautiful because hoteliers help other hoteliers, even when they compete with each other. This website is based on that. We're asking hoteliers to take a few moments to share their own honest feedback on the tech they use. Doing so helps others, and it also provides feedback to technology providers that they can use to improve their products.
